It's here, we made it, summer is waiting this weekend!
I hope you all have a blessed weekend celebrating the work and busyness of the school year and all that you and your families and students have accomplished. I wanted to take a moment and THANK YOU for all you have done this year. I know that the year has had many ups and down whether at school or in our own lives, but I am so grateful for all this year held and how the Lord used it to bring about growth and His glory. Thank you for your encouragement and support of your student, the school, and of ME! This was a big year as it was my first year teaching, first year at Glen Cary, and first year of the Adolescent Program. I have learned so much this year and I greatly appreciate the way you have walked with me as your student's educator and also as friends and community. A few last minute notes: After fun and fitness day there will be the All School Picnic with Pizza provided! Your student was sent home with Pet Packs of the supplies they will need over the summer. If you run out or have any issues, don't hesitate to contact me! I greatly appreciate you fostering our classroom pets over our break. Your student was also sent home with a summer homework packet. The list includes reading three classical texts, writing three papers on those texts (due the first day of school), as well as a Math Bridge program (my suggestions were IXL and Summer Bridge series on Amazon). Please let me know if you have any questions about this - its important that we encourage the adolescents to keep up their learning over the summer so that they don't lose what they've worked towards this year. Again, thank you for all you have done. Please enjoy your summer and rest up. I am praying for you and your families and am looking forward to next year! In His immense love, Ms. Post

Let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I hope you all had a blessed weekend!
I just wanted to provide a heads up as to what the rain plan is this week. As of this morning, we are supposed to get thunderstorms and rain both Wednesday and Friday, which are our days to work outside/garden. That being said, I will decide at 7 p.m. on the evening previous (Tuesday and Thursday) whether we will revert to our rain plan instead of the original intent of visiting the Missionaries of Charity and Maple Lake. On Wednesday, we would go to an indoor service site and on Friday we would plant and garden on North Campus instead. Please let me know of any questions or concerns - please pray for our class this week as we go out into the community and seek the adventures it holds! In Him, Ms. Post Odyssey Day Trip Schedule
