A few weeks ago, the E2 and adolescent students went to base camp at Fort Snelling. When we got there, our guides for the day awaited us. First we played a couple group games and went over some rules. Then we got to the fun part. We got to go rock climbing. Each of us had a harness and a helmet on. The guides clipped the rope onto our harnesses and then we could climb. The climbing walls looked like mini boulders not just the rock walls that have big rocks to step on. It was difficult. All of the students had the opportunity to go at least once. When we were done with that, we ate our lunches. Then we proceeded to archery. We all shot four arrows every round. We had four rounds. Over all, I think we all had a lot of fun at base camp.
